Equipment Specialist - High Volume Production

IKON currently has an opening for an Equipment Specialist to work at a customer site in downtown Boston, close to all public transportation. This position will be repsonsible for operation of the production location and workflow processes. The Equipment Specialist is a working team leader and will perform front-end production tasks. This position will be responsible for coordination of client board books to include the preparation, printing, binding, shipping etc. This position has a high degree of customer interface and will work closely with the clients on job specifications.

The candidate will meet quality and deadline standards by the effective use of job scheduling practices. Previous copy/production experience a must. Ability to work in a fast paced environment while multitasking is essential. Intermediate to advanced computer skills desired. Experience/knowledge of Power Press a plus, but not required. Experience with board book production and/or legal copy strongly desired. Location operates from 8am-7pm, Monday through Friday. May be some split shifts involved. Overtime required. Intermediate computer skills needed.

Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent. Three years of experience in a related field preferred. Requires experience in operation of high volume copy machines, performing complex jobs, and experience in setting goals by defining and prioritizing specific, realistic objectives.
