Experienced Automatic Screen Print Operator In the D/FW Hiring Immediately

Impress Designs has current openings for screen press operators.  The Operator will use an automatic screen printing press to imprint garments in a fast paced production environment.  Characteristics of the ideal candidate include: fast paced, being conscientious, being a leader (not doing all of the work him/herself), responsible.

 

 

- we are willing to examine all applicants for possible screen printer positions, however our main objective is to hire a very advanced screen printer.  Below are a list of specific position requirements for the available oppurtunity.

 Ability and experience opperating a automatic screen printing press.  (AWT centurians or M&R press preferred)In-depth understanding of 4 color process and simulated process designs and the understanding of how to apply them to shirts.Squeegee durometer and screen specifications understanding.Ability to run simple screen printing jobs at over 750 pcs/hour.Experience with a Ink Mixing system. (Union Mix-Opaque or Wilflex MX system preferred.)Finally, even though we are hiring a high level printer, an open mind to changes, different ways of doing things, and critism is important.

 

Responsibility:  Ensuring that orders scheduled are completed the day they are scheduled in a timely fashion.  Orders should be shipped out on the ship date with enough time to be delivered to the customer.  The Screen Press Operator is responsible for double checking quantities being delivered, print quality, curing, and box condition and labeling.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Training:  This position requires a high-school diploma or equivalent degree.

 

Technical Requirements:  Ability to set-up multi-color jobs in a timely manner.  Operate an automatic press without damaging goods.

 

Managerial Requirements:  The Screen Press Operator is directly responsible for ensuring his/her team is competent to fulfill their responsibilities. 

 

Time:  Screen Print Operators are required to complete a daily schedule unless otherwise instructed, occasionally requiring overtime.

 

Physical Requirements: Ability to continually lift boxes up to 50 lbs, spend the day on your feet.
