Experienced Maintenance Technician with Versatile Background

Manpower is actively recruiting for Experienced Maintenance Technicians in the Ann Arbor Area.

We offer full-time, day, afternoon, or evening shift availability, and some limited benefits. Qualified Candidates for this position will be responsible for electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and/or control system, troubleshooting, equipment installation and repair. The Candidates will be using their abilities to solve moderate equipment problems with minimal assistance from higher-level personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Perform tooling changes or repairs required for equipment set-up and
maintenance.
- Identify and document potential equipment and process problems or
improvements.
- Diagnose and repair moderate equipment and/or process problems
- Complete necessary documentation to record machine problems and solutions
in an accurate and timely fashion.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and move to minimum distance of 50 ft.
- Be able to stand or squat 50% to 100% of the day.
- Must have good attendance and availability to work overtime with little or no
notice.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate with engineers.
- Basic trouble shooting skills to diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic,
hydraulic, electrical, and/or other machine control problems.
- Basic programmable controller knowledge required in facilitating equipment
repair.
- Basic statistical process control knowledge required in facilitating equipment
repair.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the various processes used in manufacturing such
as ultrasonic welding, RF welding and robotics.
