We are recruiting to add a professional to our Extrusion department to support the increasing needs of our multi-plant company.

 

Extrusion Supervisor

 

Summary:

Responsible for overall achievement of Safety, Quality and Production targets for the shift accordance with policy & procedures

 

Responsibilities:       A. Train, monitor, & enforce Safety

B. Train, follow up & maintain Quality

C. Operation & Productivity.

D. Data & record keeping

E.  Staff Training

F.  Communication to manager & shift employees

G. Manage staffing and HR issue

H. Achieve Production out-put

 

Essential Duties:

A. Safety

?  Schedule & Conduct safety training

?  Monitor for safe working condition & unsafe act

?  Enforce safety rule & act

?  Report unsafe act and arrange corrective action

 

B. Quality

? Schedule & conduct Quality training

? Conduct corrective action for Quality issue

? Maintain Quality standard

? Follow up & report for Quality improvement action & outcome

 

C. Operation / Productivity

? Ability to run and trouble shoot sheet line extrusion.

? Maintain production schedule and output.

? Complete overhauls timely and safety.

 

D. Data & record keeping

? Assure all accurate production data(report, log, ticket)

? Conduct accurate & timely production receipt(MORV)

? Report production result, machine run hours & reason for lost

? Must be computer literate.

 

  E. Staff Training

? Schedule all necessary training for staff (Safety, Quality, operation, GMP, HACCP)

? Monitor the training record, actual performance, and plan further training for individual needs

 

  F. Communication to manager, SV, related department & shift employees

? Maintain necessary communication with employees regarding to all issues (Safety, Quality, Operation, GMP, HACCP, HR issues, & operation)

? Communicate, Consult, & Report to his/her manager for all issues

? Attend shift meeting to communicate problems, staffing issue, 

  Production target & priority

? Communicate to outside of department as necessary

? For emergency & accident, follow procedure & arrange required communication & action (emergency communication list, designated clinic, hospital)

  G. Manage Staffing & HR issue

? Prepare evaluation for all of the shift staff

? Arrange & manage proper staffing for the production target

? Communicate and manage all HR needs for shift employees

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:      

-  Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 5 year to 10 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills:      

-  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write and e-mail routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups.

 

Mathematical Skills:      

-  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

Reasoning Ability:      

-  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
