FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
JWC Environmental, a highly successful privately held company founded in 1970 is a dynamic industry leader in the manufacture and distribution of technologically advanced wastewater processing equipment. We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician at our Service Center.
This position will be responsible for:Technical service support to customers, area representatives, and Regional Service Sales Managers. Assisting customers with questions relating to technical issues, which include, providing product information, communicating repair cost estimates, parts cost and availability, explaining service programs and warranty information, entering sales parts orders, and communicating ship dates. The position will require 50% + travel (by auto or air) to visit job sites for equipment "start up", maintenance and repair of units.
To qualify for this position you will:Be able to read and understand electrical schematics and blue prints. Have electrical and mechanical knowledge and experience.Have a proven track record in a similar field service position that includes strong customer service and technical support. Have a high school diploma/GED. An electrical and/or mechanical trade school graduate or applicable course work is preferred. Possess strong oral and written communication skills, basic mathematics skills, Possess a strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills.
