FIRST PRESS OPERATOR
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
? 3+ years directly related work experience.
? Education equivalent to an apprenticeship in graphic arts with emphasis in offset press operations
? Ability to work from work orders and proofs.
? Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
? Ability to use advanced trades math.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
? Check work of other press operators and assist them as needed
? Check proof and work order to determine required inks, sequence of colors, paper type and size
? Move required materials to press, set up equipment and mix inks
? Set and adjust presses as required
? Conduct preventive maintenance as required
