Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor - Nashville

Facilities Supervisor   Growing division of a Fortune 300 company in the Nashville area seeks to hire a Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and safety of the facility (building/grounds, equipment and tooling) with respect to accident prevention, OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, tooling maintenance and facilities maintenance.

 

Key Responsibilities



 
Responsible for the relocation, installation, start-up and maintenance of equipment, facilities and systems
Supervise maintenance, tool room and tool crib employees
Coordinates all in house and subcontracted work relating to the facility, equipment and tooling
Ensures the safety and security of the physical plant and facilities
Tracks and regulates energy consumption and conservation
Complies with federal, state and local environmental regulations
Ensures environmental safety and health of the plant
Orders supplies required for maintaining and improving the facility, equipment or tooling
Conducts and/or coordinates training related to safety, regulator compliance, facilities, maintenance, and tooling
Performs other support functions as required by the company

 

 

Requirements:

 

?  AS or BS Engineering, Mechanical, Electical, Industrial

?  5+ yrs supervising maintenance and/or tooling associates

?  Knowledge of OSHA compliance training requirements and regulations

?  Experience implementing Preventive Maintenace / PM programs and/or TPM

?  Experience and knowledgeable of fabrication and welding

?  Strong organizational and leadership skills

?  High level of standards and motivation

?  Strong verbal and written communication skills

?  Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
