Field Application Engineer

The company's customer base includes both government and industrial customers in North America as well as Europe and Asia. L-3 Infrared Products currently provides handheld, stationary and vehicle-mounted camera systems for a variety of public safety, transportation and first responder and rescue services.


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Application Engineer to provide customer support for end users, OEM's, distributors and dealers.Additional duties include camera integration support and assisting internal and external customers with camera functionality requirements, supporting the Sales organization with specifications and camera/core functionality, providing training to Sales and the company's Sales Support Center on old and new technologies and interfacing with Engineering to provide customer feedback regarding intergration problems.

 

This position requires 3-5 years of direct experience working with infrared technology and must include customer interface experience.  In addition, a thorough knowledge and understanding of infrared technology, excellent customer service and communication skills and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience is required.
