We currently have an Finishing Lab Technician career opportunity at our Baltimore, MD location.

 

 

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

This position will work in all areas of the finishing department including spotting, blocking, edging, mounting, and final inspection.  This position will rotate into different areas of the department based on production needs.  Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Ensures complete accuracy and follow through in processing jobs through the finishing area according to standard procedures.

? Rotate to different areas of the department as requested by group leads.

? Improve cross training in the department by assisting group leads with training other employees.

? Be a fully functional lab technician with knowledge in all areas of finishing.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

? 1 to 3 years previous experience working in a finishing lab.

? Must have working knowledge of most areas of the finishing department including spotting, blocking, edging, mounting, and final inspection.

? Previous experience training other employees preferred.

? Ability to read and recognize optical terminology.

? Good manual dexterity and visual skills.

? Ability to pay close attention to detail.

? Must be able to manage multiple tasks, and work successfully in a fast paced environment.

?  Must be able to read, speak and write English.
