Fleet Program Leader

CITY: Corbin STATE: Kentucky COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

Management of multi-functional business teams across entire service account.

Focal point for service implementation of Fleet Modification Instructions (FMI) across service account.

Create processes for meeting contractual goals on fleet performance.

Primary interface to business and customer on performance progress and issue escalation.

Responsible for contractual performance tracking and reconciliation.

Work with commercial teams to provide support for new service opportunities.

Interface with critical Rail headquarters functions and executive staff regarding budgets, schedules, and material requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

BS in engineering plus minimum 4 years industrial operations experience, or BS Business plus minimum 7 years industrial operations experience, or HS diploma/GED plus minimum 10 years experience in industrial operations or minimum 10 years military leadership experience.

Minimum 5 years program management experience and GE Locomotive experience.

Ability to work in shop environment (for example: navigate up and down ramps and steps, no air conditioning, walking).

Minimum 3 years Rail contract or warranty contract experience.

Desired:

Previous shop management, primarily Service Shop management.

Green Belt or Black Belt Certified.

Working knowledge of Rail NPI, sourcing, manufacturing processes.

Previous railroad operations experience.
