Footwear Developer

DC Shoes, the industry leader in action sports footwear and apparel is currently looking for an experienced Footwear Developer to join our production team.

Primary responsibilites:
Create footwear specifications for DC Shoes, Roxy and Quiksilver footwear lines throught the sampling/development process for all 5 seasons of the year. Peripheral duties include but are not limited to: international and domestic business travel for product research, sample reviews and trade shows.

Requirements:2-4 Years footwear development experience required Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, Illustrator and Outlook.Must be highly organized and detail orientedMust listen well and work well in team environmentMust perform efficiently under deadlinesSome college coursework preferred

Skills Needed:Create footwear specifications independently with minimal supervisionHigh level of understanding of footwear components and constructionMust understand costing/CBD's and how it impacts target pricing
