Our client, a leading Healthcare Supply Manufacturing and Distribution organization in Waukegan, began as company working in drug distribution and has expanded to becoming a leading Fortune 500 conglomerate, with a vision to improve quality and efficiency throughout healthcare. This multinational company seeks a Purchasing Assisant.
The job duties are as follows:
*Coordinate logistic deliveries with four plants through suppliers
*Review excel spreadsheets; Input current information into central database; Input and maintain purchase order due dates
*Fax information to vendors and other departments; and any additional duties/responsibilities assigned by manager(s)
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, great organizational/time management skills, and familiarity with MS Windows; Network; MS Word (intermediate); Excel (intermediate) and Access (beginner). 75-100% various computer systems, including the latter. Letters/Memos/Emails; Data Entry; Filing, Faxing; Copying are additional duties.
