INSTRUCTOR-Machining Skills

 



 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Deliver internal machining skills for all levels of service personnel to include conventional lathes and mills, as well as NC lathes and mills.

? Assess individual students and/or teams performance.

? Make changes and develop curriculum as required under supervision.

? Provide technical expertise in machining processes to all customers (internal).

? Promote teamwork within the training session.

? Promote positive relationships with all customers.

? Remain current with new technology and facilitate knowledge transfer of new products or processes.

?  Perform other essential functions as assigned by management. 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

? Requires a minimum of 3-5 years in machining fields

? Requires a minimum of 3 years related experience or Bachelor Degree, or previous experience as an instructor.

? Must have a good working knowledge of shop math, measuring instruments, blue print reading, and machining processes.

? Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

? Experience with training delivery a plus.

? Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.

? Requires presentation skills using audio and visual equipment.

? Requires people, teamwork and facilitation skills.

?  Ability and willingness to travel abroad and/or within USA.
