IT Project Manager/ SAP Super User

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Enterprise Business System Specialist is accountable for supporting continuous improvement. This requires business leadership and an understanding of the importance of communication, and SAP knowledge. 

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES include but are not limited to:

? Consulting and implementation for the end user level;

? Evaluate business requirements for enterprise business application integration, service activation, and deliver new or modified systems enhancements and/or integration solutions.

? Participate in the definition, test, train, implement, and support of systems.

? Develop appropriate project plans and implement on-time and within budget.

? Able to conduct effective meetings to gather, analyze and document business requirements and functional specifications.

? Builds effective relationships with business units to develop requirements for system-related development and supporting business processes.

 

NATURE AND SCOPE

The Enterprise Business System Specialist reports to the Director, Enterprise Business Systems. The primary focus of the EBS Specialist is to lead projects and ensure continuous improvement throughout the organization. The position requires strong leadership skills, including organization, initiative and written and oral communication.

 

This position will also have frequent contact with Operations, and Sales and Marketing. 

 

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB

A Bachelor?s degree in marketing, business, business administration, information systems or related field and a minimum of 2 years of related industry experience. Masters degree a plus. Well-developed analytical skills, strategic thinking, statistical knowledge and prior experience with SAP, and Six Sigma. A proven track record of exemplary leadership of cross-functional teams and communication skills to effectively lead and facilitate objectives and projects is also required.

 

The incumbent requires a working knowledge of business activities and knowledge of communicating complex ideas clearly and concisely while providing recommendations will be key success factor of this position.
