 Description



Verify material received from suppliers through measuring, testing or visual means.

Ensure product flagged for inspection meets the drawing or specification before releasing to stock.
Maintain inspection records of layout results and inspection logs.
Process non-conforming material through the MRB (Material Review Board) process.
Interact with Engineering to resolve specification clarifications.
Request Inspection flags be removed in Oracle for items not requiring inspection.
Maintain Inspection KPI''s (Key Process Indicators).
Assist receiving in of material not flagged for Inspection
Maintain 5S responsibilities

 Required Skills


High School Diploma or equivalent.
2-5 years of Incoming Inspection experience with experience in metrology. Ability to understand assembly drawings and blueprints.
Competence in the use of measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparator.
Good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Excel and Access.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
