KellyDirect is partnering with CertainTeed, a leading building materials manufacturer of Insulation, Roofing, Vinyl Siding, Fiber Cement Siding, Vinyl Windows, Composite Decking, Vinyl Fence in Terre Haute IN area.

CertainTeed is seeking the following:

*Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
*Mechanical Maintenance
*Mechanical Shiftman
*Lubricator
*Maintenance Manager


Overall Purpose:
To act as Maintenance professional for the construction and maintenance the sheet machine, pilers, depilers, converting line, boiler, autoclaves, and all other plant machinery and equipment.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES '

*Must be able to complete any mechanical repairs needed for all plant machinery, and boiler.

*Must know how to trouble-shoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, air and electrical problems and complete hydraulic school.

*Must work overtime and work shift schedules as needed (week ends, holidays, etc.).

*Must be on call 24/ 7

*Must be able to weld, gas, stick, TIG, MIG, cast iron, stainless steel, aluminum carbon steel, hard facing, air arcing and be able to pass the full penetration butt weld certification on ' mild steel plate and the high pressure welding certification test 1-1-BA/ 6G position.

*Must have passed and have a mobile crane certification for a 6 ton truck mounted crane and have the required photo identification card.

*Must use good judgment as to safety procedures.

*Must be responsible for the parts used and parts inventory.

*Must be able to change and properly fit all types of bearings and sprockets (slip fit, press fit, shrink fit)

*Must be able to do ALL machine shop jobs with the lathe climax key cutter and milling machine
a. Dial in shafting with an independent four-jaw chuck on the lathe
b. Drill and tap
c. Cut metric and standard treads on the lathe
d. Bore and key sprockets
e. Bore and turn to a tolerance of one, one thousands of an inch.
f. Key shafts
g.Cut tapers
h.Broaching
i.Use Bridge Port milling machine with DRO.

*Must have drafting skills to the level of reading and making blue prints.

*Must be able to fabricate parts and equipment from blue prints, sketches and verbal instructions.

*Must be able to complete jobs that are assigned from the blue print to the start up.

*Must have the ability to lead and organize both unskilled helpers and apprentices.
