For our corporate North American offices in Duncan, South Carolina, we are looking for a

Injection Molding Supervisor 2nd and 3rd shift

(exp. in Injection Molding required)

 

 

Duties:

This position is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the East (Injection Molding, Foaming, Lamination and Assembly) production and works to ensure that all customer requirements (internal and external) are met through the appropriate management of labor, materials, and equipment.  Duties include, but are not limited to:

 Providing daily direction and supervision to Production Associates and process technicians working in East production areas; Providing daily reporting of production to Department Manager in terms of downtime, OEE, productivity, and scrap; Providing assistance with Mold Tool changes as necessary; Monitors tool changes to ensure that the maximum ?run time? on machines are achieved; Assisting in troubleshooting of quality problems, process, tool, or machine issues; Establishes and ensures good housekeeping and 5S activities are in place and maintained;Works with Process Engineering to ensure effective launch and integration of new programs in to production; Develop daily production plan and mold change over schedule based on Weekly Production Release in order to optimize production efficiency and work force utilization; Assisting project engineering to ensure effective launch and integration of new programs into production; Assumes leadership role in the absence of the Department Manager; and assisting management in maintaining overall company compliance to policies and regulations.



Education:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and Technical Certification in related field required.  Associates Degree preferred.

 

Experience:

 

Must have three to five years experience in a supervisory role in Injection Molding.

 

Skills and Knowledge:



? Must have strong people management skills and motivational skills

? Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
