GRANITE INSTALLER

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Responsible for assisting the installation setter.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

?  Represent Terra Surfaces in a professional manner at all times.

?  Strong sense of Customer Service.

?  Check job work orders and all pieces for size, color and correct edge detail.

?  Ensure all tools and supplies needed for installations are available and stocked on truck.

?  Assist Lead Installer with caulking and cutting at job site.

?  Ensure jobsite is thoroughly cleaned and inspected, both inside and outside, prior to leaving.

?  Able to cut pieces and do simple fabrication.

?  Capable of installing jobs.

?  Eye for matching color.

?  Ability to repair and polish tops, edges and seams onsite.

?  Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.

?  Maintain an efficient, clean and organized work area.

?  Driving company truck from main location to job sites and suppliers.  Pick up and deliver materials and supplies.  Load and unload materials and supplies.

?  Team Player.

?  ?Can do? attitude with ability to hustle.

?  Effectively work and communicate with shop, office, installation & sales personnel.

?  Ability to lift over 100 lbs.

?  Ability to follow directions.

?  Ability to work overtime as required.

?  Other duties as assigned.

 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

 

?  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); No other experience or training is required.

?   Clean driving record.

?  Valid Ohio Driver?s License.

?  Ability to pass a drug screen.

Granite Production Helper

 

 

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Responsible for assisting the WaterJet & CNC operators, polishers and installers when needed at Southwest Ohio?s fastest growing granite and marble fabricator.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

?  Train on the use and operation of the different types of equipment and machines within the production facility.

?  Train and understand the various types and colors of granite and marble products.

?  Polishing, Rodding and Sealing of Granite & Marble

?  Forklift Operation

?  Train and understand how to read and interpret fabrication drawings.

?  Train and understand various procedures associated with the production area.

?  Ability to lift over 100 lbs.

?  Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse.

?  ?Can do? attitude with ability to hustle.

?  Effectively work and communicate with shop, office, installation & sales personnel.

?  Ability to pass a Drug Screen.

?  Other duties as assigned.

?  1st and 2nd Shift available.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

FABRICATOR / POLISHER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPolishing of all edge details to a quality finishAbility to perform all types of edge work.Ability to repair chips, cracks, breaks and re-finish the edge and tops if required.Verification of top dimensions and size to template and/or drawingsInspection of material for quality assurance.Maintenance of equipment as required per equipment manufacturer and Terra Surfaces? Policy.Assist with packaging of A-frame for job transportationAssist in pulling material for upcoming productionAbility to read and understand fabrication drawings.Maintain an efficient, clean and organized work area.Team Player.?Can do? attitude with ability to hustle.Effectively work and communicate with shop, office, installation & sales personnel.Ability to lift over 100 lbs.
