Inventory Analyst

Description:
Ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. Conducts physical inventories and leads cycle counts. Analyzes and corrects cycle count discrepancies. Audits incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy. Compiles and documents all transactions for data entry. Works with limited guidance on projects within defined criteria. Provides solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems. Typically requires 3 - 6 years experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Experience with interpretation of data processing output and material planning is preferred.

Qualifications:
o 3 to 6 years experience in data collection, analysis and presentation
o 1 to 2 years inventory management experience
o Expert Excel and Access skills
o Project Management experience
o A strong customer focus and the proven philosophy that your success is dependent on the success of your customers
o The ability to think outside the box, to design processes that meet customer needs in an ever changing environment
o A strong technology foundation and the proven ability to use systems and technology as a tool to work smarter, not harder, to meet customer needs. SAP or Servigistics experience a plus.
o Exceptionally strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to determine the right form of communication to use given a varied audience
o Attention to detail
o Minimal travel will be required (2-3x/quarter)
