Qualifications: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented LAb Assistant with skills in several areas to perform a variety of tasks as part of our Quality Team. 

 

Varied responsibilities include: Physical receipt and initial processing of work items from customers, processing of customer equipment and documents to and from our lab, packing equipment for shipment, filling out related paperwork, inputting data into the database, providing assistance to walk-in or call in customers, pick up and deliver equipment from/to customer (ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance), support the Lab Coordinator as needed, and in general provide world class service to our manufacturing customers.  You may also be trained to perform some basic calibrations.

The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping/receiving and/or handling electronic equipment, and be comfortable using computers.
For occasional deliveries or pickups, you will use your own vehicle (fully reimbursed) for transportation of equipment.  Requires ability to lift 50 lbs. 

 

Requires heavy use of laptop. Heavy emphasis on accuracy and documentation.

 



QUALIFICATIONSMust have good communication and customer service skills.Must enjoy hands on work, and be willing to work in a team environment. TRAININGInitial training: We will train you on one task, and then another, until you have learned most of the tasks that occur in your area.  usCalibration has a training web site for employees where all the basic work philosophy and requirements are clearly presented.

COMPENSATION: $12 - $18 per hour DOE.
