Vi-Jon strives to keep its customers in stock at all times by accurately anticipating all of their requirements, insuring every order arrives on time and 100% complete. Vi-Jon offers products equivalent to nationally advertised brands at substantial cost savings to customers and consumers.
Our focus is our customer. The members of the Vi-Jon team aim to coordinate all efforts at the highest level of efficiency in order to respond to customers faster, at a lower cost, and with better quality than the competition.
Issuing work orders, setting up case roller(s) and/or case labels, setting up or pulling bottle/jar labels, setting up case code verification sheet, setting up jet code sheet, tallying move tickets, entering production tickets, measuring labels and updating production schedule. Shipping, receiving and cycle counting labels.
Printing lablels from the production schedule to create work orders. Verifying label information in the VIS system prior to transferring to the prod bin. Review and compare changes with the bill of materials. Set up labels for work orders. Responsible for setting up and reviewing tank information for case code verification sheet, jet code and hot stamp code verification sheet. Ensuring that all the label product information is correct. Documenting issued lable amounts administered during the shift. Processeing various reports on receiveing labels and cycle counting lables. Making movements of lables through a computer process.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; familiarity with computers; and simple use of formulas, charts, adjustable measuring instruments. Requires one-year manufacturing with proficiency after six months on-the-job training in label control. Coder, hot stamp, computer and related programs, copy machine, telephone.
