This is a working leader position. The successful candidate must have a detailed knowledge of all aspects of working with a Laser, preferably within a Lean Manufacturing environment. It is an hourly position reporting to the Production Manager with the potential to promote into the manager?s position. Previous Laser experience is mandatory. The overall scope of this position includes:

Requirements:?

????????????????????????????????? Meeting daily production schedules

????????????????????????????????? Actively working with our engineering staff on product changes

????????????????????????????????? Balancing the production line based on daily demand

????????????????????????????????? Identifying and solving technical issues

????????????????????????????????? Evaluating processes to improve quality and productivity

????????????????????????????????? Submitting Engineering Change Requests

????????????????????????????????? Training and cross-training manufacturing employees

????????????????????????????????? Evaluating daily quality reports ? internal and external

????????????????????????????????? Planning with sales and customer service

????????????????????????????????? Coordinating with scheduling and purchasing

????????????????????????????????? Communicating expectations to all team members

Accountabilities

?

????????????????????? All tasks from Engineering and Maintenance must be completed within 12 hours of receipt.

????????????????????? Responsible for training and certification of new employees within 8 days of arrival.

????????????????????? Zero accidents from JSA.

????????????????????? Provide Poke Yoke for any defect found in the Quality department within 3 business days.

????????????????????? Maintain a 90% beam on time for the department.

????????????????????? Create and upkeep a laser maintenance chart 100% of the time.

????????????????????? 100% of everything cut has paperwork with it in order to identify what it is.

????????????????????? Identify how much scrap that exists and reduce scrap rate by 50% per month.

Experience:?
