Lead QA Inspector

A wide range of applications benefit from Zebra barcode label printers, receipt printers and plastic card printers, providing enhanced security, increased productivity, improved quality, lower costs and better customer service.  RESPONSIBILITY LEVELUnder general direction plans, conducts and supervise daily in-process inspection activities.  Assignments are specific in nature using established quality procedures and workmanship standards.  Working under general supervision applies comprehensive knowledge of electro-mechanical techniques.  Provides training to personnel and ensures that proper inspections are employed by individual auditors.  Provides feedback to other quality functions to ensure inspection documentations are up to date and sufficient for In-process inspection. 

 PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.  Provides work direction to Auditors to ensure daily audit goals are accomplished.

2.  Runs daily production reports to set daily priorities.

3.  Provides training to Auditors to ensure inspection of printer?s meet Zebra quality standards.

4.  Makes decisions on the acceptability of questionable workmanship issues.

5.  Perform other duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS

? High School or equivalent.

? Minimum of 4 years in Quality Assurance.

? Understanding of inspection techniques and methods involved with electro-mechanical devices. Knowledge of manufacturing practices, workmanship standards and quality levels.

? Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

? Must be able to communicate, write and read in English.
