Lead Warehouse Operations

1.   Leads assigned personnel and ensure that key performance objectives are met for the department and personnel assigned.

2.  Is responsible for ensuring that bulk material from the warehouse processed from receiving to the production line. 

3.  Processes inbound bulk material from receiving to bulk storage.

4.  Is responsible for coordinating with Receiving and Inspection Quality teams for moving un-inspected material from the receiving areas into production to ensure that production requirements are met within the facility.

5.  Is responsible for ensuring that assigned employees maintain strict adherence to established corporate, and regional safety guidelines.

6.  Will assign work to subordinate employees to ensure work load balancing and work schedule metrics are met.

7.  Will mentor assigned staff in the skills needed to ensure quality, safety, and general productivity improvements are made.

8.  Will provide input as to the overall performance, identify key areas of improvement, and provide first-line evaluations to the manager for employee retention, promotion, and similar purposes.

9.  Perform other duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS

? High School Diploma

? 2-3 years experience in high capacity shipping/receiving environments

? Familiarity with OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and other workplace safety/management guidelines

? 1+ years direct supervisory experience
