Lean Deployment Leader

Lean Deployment Leader   Our client is a Fortune 500 global manufacturer of industrial products.  The company has a rich history of solid performance and innovation.  The brands are instantly recognized and highly respected around the world.  The corporation is in transformation to become less reliant on cyclical products and markets.  A lot of work has been done with the portfolio of businesses and the emphasis on performance is now front and center.  LEAN is the goal across the enterprise. 

 

We seek an individual with an exceptionally strong LEAN background, strong project management skills, and the ability to get results without direct authority and with minimum oversight. This person will be comfortable working at the shop floor level of execution but will be able to link the daily activities to the business strategy.

 

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Engineering or equivalent, a Masters Degree is highly preferred, with a minimum of 5 years continuous improvement experience in a best practices company.  Six Sigma training and Hoshin planning are highly relevant.

 

The successful candidate will be action oriented and possess high potential for promotion.  The candidate must be capable and willing to coach, train, develop, mentor, and build world class teams.  The position requires extensive travel domestically and internationally.  This is the position where future operations leaders are developed.
