Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies Sector is seeking an experienced Lean Leader for our Davidson, NC location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Manage the process to implement and sustain Lean Branch regional operations to facilitate operational excellence and superior customer experiences. Provide the leadership on Lean thinking, Lean processes and Lean Branch operations. Drive continuous improvement processes through branch management via the implementation of tools such as LDMS, 5's, Value Stream Mapping, Work Stream Teams, Lean Branch Keys, etc. Provide consultation and training services as necessary to educate and engage the businesses and install common metrics to measure progress.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Vision - Provide the strategic vision for the Lean Branch Deployment process. Recommend, develop and implement Lean principles throughout the regional branches that enhance the effectiveness of the organization and the facility. Champion radical change that pushes for continual improvement in alignment with Hussmann Branch Operation's strategic plan.

Performance Management - Develop and implement performance metrics for Lean processes in the support of the overall business strategies and goals. Track and validate all savings attributed to the Lean Branch deployment.

Consultation and Facilitation - Provide expert consulting to branch management regarding Lean techniques to facilitate overall organization performance including Operational Management.

Learning and Development - Determine Lean branch needs for employee groups of varying size and discipline (i.e., all managers, professionals and/or departmental groups or individuals). Design and conduct learning and development initiatives and/or purchase outside services effective in meeting identified needs (maximizing on e-learning benefits to individuals and the organization). Design, develop, and deploy initiatives to build change management skills throughout the regional branch operations. Institute evaluation process to ensure on-going success of learning and development initiatives.

Continuous Improvement - Facilitate continuous improvement interventions throughout the regional branches as well as into the branch supply chain.

Communication - Develop and implement communication tools to foster the Lean environment and enhance a Lean culture.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, I/O Psychology or related field (preferred).

5 + years of professional industry experience in operations management.

Must possess the following technical competencies:

1. Lean Principles Orientation.

2. Mechanically Astute.

3. Lean Principles Awareness (5's, Kaizen, Process Mapping, LDMS, Kanban, etc).

4. Consultation with professional organizations and business leaders.

5. Planning & Organizing.

6. Problem Solving & Analysis.

7. Handling Complexity.

8. Presentation & Communication Skills.

9. Computer skills proficiency (Excel, Word, Power Point, Email, etc.).

10. Interpersonal Savvy.
