Lean Six Sigma Deployment Champion (Home Based -Traveling Role)

This is a fantastic opportunity to deploy Lean & Six Sigma in a fast paced environment and with a rapidly growing industry leader. As a Lean Six Sigma Deployment Champion that will impact multiple facilities, you will have significant visibility and opportunity to deploy Lean & Six Sigma.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Deploy Lean & Six Sigma throughout facility
 Lead &/or Facilitate Lean Initiatives / Kaizen Events
 Help develop a growth plan for Lean & Six Sigma for facilities
 Train site operators and leaders on Lean & Six Sigma tools and methodology
 Increase bench strength in Six Sigma
Drive DFSS into the process.  Need someone who lived the transitional piece between design and manufacturing.
Lead &/or Facilitate FMEAs, due to nature of product

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 
BS, Engineering (Technical degree preferred)
Manufacturing Experience
Six Sigma Trained (Black Belt or Master Black Belt)
DFSS or Design For Manufacturability (DFM) Trained
 New Product Introduction (NPI) experience
Lean Trained with ample experience
Excellent grasp of statistical tools and problem solving skills techniques!
This is a Traveling Lean Six Sigma (BB / MBB) role.  Travel will be 70% of the time, but you will be allowed to be home based for first 6 months to 1 year (or longer).  You should be willing to relocate in the future for promotional opportunities.  You can be home based out of any city that you can easily get to an airport. 
Excellent leadership skills
Ability to work on own and with minimal guidance
