Supervises employees, while being responsible for assuring a smooth, efficient operation of line(s) producing high quality food products in accordance with company standards.

Direct efforts of mixing, baking and packing on assigned line to achieve goals in quality, line efficiency, costs, budgets and scrap.

Responsible for overseeing training/qualification efforts on assigned shift, inspections, identification, follow-up, record keeping and correction of all sanitation issues.

Maintain safe working practices and conditions; conduct safety inspections, safety meetings and accident investigations. Maintain housekeeping and good manufacturing practices on the operation. Coordinate with maintenance supervisor on preventative maintenance. Monitor equipment and address mechanical situations.

Create a positive work environment within the Team that encourages innovation by fully utilizing the synergy of all employees. Maintain an open line of communication with employees, union stewards, and provides guidance, leadership and direction to employees.


Position Requirements:

-Communication skills (written and oral) Computer Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Analytical & Problem Solving Skills. Ability to supervise, train, and manage hourly employees and the production process.

-Two to five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Food, beverage, pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred.

-Bachelors Degree preferred.

-Must be flexible to work across all shifts including weekend shift
