MARKETING COORDINATOR

Sanyo Fisher Company, a leading provider of innovative, unique quality handsets in the wireless industry, has an immediate opening in its Wireless Communications Division for an energetic, detail-oriented individual with a solid work-ethic and a passion for technology marketing. Excellent opportunity in the dynamic and fast-moving cell phone/wireless communications industry. Requires an individual who is both creative and well-organized, with superior project-coordination skills. This individual must currently reside in the Los Angeles area.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

? Assist marketing and product planning teams

? Organize projects and follow-up to insure that deadlines are met

? Interface with internal and external parties to keep projects on schedule

? Coordinate printed materials projects

? Coordinate sample product approvals

? Coordinate trade show and meeting event activities

? Coordinate market research activities, including surveys and focus groups

? Gather, analyze and report market research data

? Assist in creating and organizing PowerPoint presentation materials

? Communicate with and support outside field representatives

 

Skills/Qualifications:

?  2+ years of relevant marketing/communications experience preferred

?  Bachelor?s degree in Business, Marketing or related field strongly preferred

?  Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

?  Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Xpress, and/or web design programs a plus

?  Graphics, copywriting and proofreading skills a plus

?  Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines a must

?  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

?  Excellent organization, analytical and scheduling skills

?  Excellent people skills

?  Ability to work under pressure and deadlines

?  Some travel required
