This position provides final review of annual inventory data results prior to upload to steel inventory and accounting systems (WIP/ PLS/ JCS). The individual will monitor and improve logistical efficiency as well as investigate and prevent systems failures. They will Review and correct inventory data bases focused on the bloom to billet process and the bale inventory (billet to tube). Additionally they will maintain and upgrade Material Movement databases and communications equipment. They are responsible to Develop and Implement new CI Technology (TESYS, GPS, GPRS, WIFI, etc.) and analyze lost load root causes and make corrective long-term recommendations. They will act as a consultant to department and other plant management for material movement, product inventory, technology and other related business issues.






Requirements: High School diploma in Vocational/College Prep with 7-9 years experience; or Associates Degree in Engineering and/or IT with 4-6 years experience; or Bachelors Degree in Engineering and/or IT with 1-3 years experience. Understanding of computer hardware/software troubleshooting issues

Desired: Manufacturing experience Thorough understanding with the automation systems tracking and scheduling WIP
