MIXING & COMPOUDING TECHNICIAN - BANBURY / MILL OPERATOR

Mixing and compounding, laboratory opportunity available immediately. Previous experience required for the right candidate. Excellent, rapidly growing company seeking a mixing/compounding technician for their laboratory. This position would require eye-hand coordination, ability to lift and control up to 75 lbs. Knowledge in polymers, rubber and plastics preferred. Previous operation/experience operating Rheometer, mooney viscometer, a laboratory banbury, mill, and calendar experience mandatory. Must be computer literate and ability to operate Windows XP, read, write and speak English fluently and proficiently with the knowledge to record data accurately and within a pre-established spreadsheet.

Additional requirements and responsibilities include: Following Quality System and ISO guidelines. Completion of projects and testing on a timely, deadline basis. Inlcuding, but not limited to data calculations and results reporting. Weighing and mixing of mmaterials/chemicals to specifications. Banbury mixing and milling to specifications. Curing of test specimens. Inventory control. Day to day general houskeeping and errands.
