Machine Set-up Person

Company Introduction: We are a Southern CA-based manufacturer of Al & Zn Precision Die Castings.  We are one of the largest Die Casting Companies on the West Coast employing approximately 125 employees in our Buena Park facility.  Our service includes Commercial, Medical, Aerospace, Telecommunication and Military Electronics 

 

Job Description:

 Set-up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes to ensure customer specifications are achieved.Inspect parts, prior to formal First Article, to ensure machines and operators are producing parts that meet customer specifications.Must be able to read blueprints and possess the skill necessary to perform close tolerance work.Monitor the actual production of the parts on a daily basis to ensure quality standards are met.  Make adjustments when necessary.Must be familiar with various tools, such as:  Flexarm, drill/tapping machines, etc., to improve production.Must be willing to operate machines during peak periods and as required by schedule.

 

Job Requirements:

High School Graduate

5 plus years of experience (Machine castings, Performing Set ups)

Must be able to communicate both written and verbally in English

Experience with fanuc controls, NC Mill, NC Lathes & Programming Experience

Knowledge of machine shop measuring instruments, programming lathes & mills using mastercam
