Machinist - VTL - Job Shop - Multiple Positions

Faxon Machining is a world-class manufacturing company providing machining services to the automotive, aerospace, medical, and defense-related industries and other related industries.  We are seeking talented professionals due to increased sales volume to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as a VTL Machinist at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and from Northern Kentucy). Local candidates ONLY. VTL Machinist ? 1st & 2nd Shift - Multiple Positions?  Primary responsibility will be the set-up and operation of CNC Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL) on large, complex parts materials as specified by work order, blueprints, drawing, templates or layout.  ? Determine the specifications or procedures for tooling set-up, machine operation, work-piece dimensions or numerical control sequences using blueprints, instructions and machine knowledge.? Set-up, adjust and operate machine controls to position tools or regulate cutting depth, speed, feed or coolant flow to produce precision metal parts and materials.? Qualified candidates should have experience that includes a minimum of 2 years operating VTLs.  ?  Ability to operate multiple machines necessary.  ? Must have own tools, the ability to do their own set-ups, and be able to program their machines to make parts to print.
