Machinist/Welder/Assembler

We have openings for Welders and Machinists:

 

? Welds or machines OPW products to specification and within established tolerances and quality guidelines; may include set-up activities.

? Operates equipment and machinery required to produces product.

? Performs general mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery and equipment

? Performs general housekeeping in work area

? Handles/moves materials using forklifts and other handlings means

? Follows safety guidelines and demonstrates safe behaviors

 

Qualifications

? High School Diploma or GED and 3 years demonstrated welding or machining experience

? Must be able to read and interpret blueprints

? Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals 

? Ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals 

? Ability to problem solve in standardized situations

? Must be able to lift up 45 pounds repeatedly throughout shift and to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds

? Must be able to stand for scheduled work hours and to work in a loud and hot environment

? Must be willing to train

? Must be able to work overtime and various shifts

? Must be able to read various gauges
