Machinist and Tool and Die Maker

Local North Dayton employer is seeking a Machinist and Tool and Die Maker with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a machine shop environment with 1-2 years using a traditional Non-CNC lathe and milling machine. The candidate should be familiar with using Traditional Machine shop equipment including Engine Lathes, Universal Milling Machines, Dill Press and a Horizontal milling machine. Must also be familiar with machining materials such as Fiberglass, Reinforced Plastic (FRP), Teflon, Nylon, Aluminum, Carbon, Steel, Stainless Steel, and other Alloys. This position is a full time, first shift position working Monday through Friday. In this role you will be responsible for your own machine setup on Non-CNC (manual) equipment. CNC equipment is not used at this facility, therefore programming is not required. Trade School or other education focused on the machine shop trade is a plus.
