Magnet Service & Technical Support Engineer

Bruker Biospin Corp has an opening in our Magnetics Division for a Magnet Service & Technical support engineer. Responsibilities to include but not limited to: Provide technical support to customers and engineers, maintain database for customer and engineer calls, perform weekly cryogen refills of Superconducting magnets, carryout inspections and refurbishments of a broad range of NMR magnets of different brands, work with suppliers on specialized magnet parts and service equipment, maintain and repair magnet service equipment including vacuum pumps & leak detectors, carryout magnet installations and service in house as well as at customer sites nationwide.

Candidates must have an Associates degree or B.S. in engineering or equivalent. 5 years experience in a technical/engineering related field. Previous experience in cryogenics and vacuum technology highly preferred. Previous experience with NMR and MRI magnets a plus! Must have proven mechanical aptitudes, strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication skills, fluency with PC's and microsoft office applications. This position does require National and International travel for training and then up to 30% nation wide travel for field service.
