Ventura Foods is searching for an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to support the administrative functions of the E/M Department.

 

This position is responsible for providing the E/M department additional support for maintenance planning/scheduling, buying and inventory control functions.

 

Qualifications

 

1). Knowledge in the use of computer based tools such as MS Word, Excel spread sheets, etc.

2). Review, prioritize, plan and schedule work orders for CM, PM and project work through the interaction with a Maintenance Supervisor and other appropriate plant personnel.

3). Monitor, adjust and audit completion of equipment P.M. programs.

4). Supervise, control and audit stores inventory to ensure availability of materials.

5). Process E/M department purchase requisitions to obtain necessary P.O.?s.

6). Order supplies, parts and equipment and track as appropriate.

7). Establish and maintain a maintenance history for all plant/facilities equipment.

8). Maintain Kronos payroll system for department personnel.

9).   Knowledge of a computer-based CMMS (preferably J.D. Edwards) is a plus.

10). Provide E/M department administrative support for general office duties.

11). Good work judgment, work habits and leadership skills.

 

Candidates will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) with the ability to work and communicate effectively with management and front line personnel. College education is a plus. Also, at least 5 years of maintenance experience is required in addition to knowledge of buying, planning and scheduling.

 

Experience in the food industry is preferred with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirements.
