Maintenance II & Extruder I

Royal Canin, world leader in health nutrition for dogs and cats, currently seeks experienced manufacturing/production professionals in the food processing industry to join our Rolla, MO plant. The following opportunities exist on 3-week swing shifts:

MAINTENANCE II $18.35/hour Maintain mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, compressed air, propane/natural gas, heating/ventilation and stream systems and perform plumbing, carpentry, flat concrete and preventative maintenance duties. HS diploma/equivalent; prior experience in above mentioned functional tasks; previous Allen Bradley PLC and boiler experience; familiarity with schematic interpretation; and a strong mechanical background are required. Valid driver's license and forklift certification also essential.

EXTRUDER I $15.35/hour Perform extruder line startup, product run changeover and line shutdown; setup extruder and extruding process; verify setup by extruder helper; monitor extrusion process; and obtain update from previous shift on machine/quality problems, run modifications, current product run and coating quality. HS diploma/equivalent; prior experience in above mentioned functional tasks; previous experience in food or pet food extrusion; forklift certification; and computer proficiency are required. Strong attention to detail; ability to display a commitment to quality; and ability/willingness to withstand a warm/heated work environment also essential.
