Maintenance / Manufacturing Technician

Support production for all builds / first time builds including line /
equipment setups and documentation requirements. Support equipment PM and
facility requirements. Monitor production and scrap requirements.

Main tasks of the position:
-Support production build requirements from an equipment
setup, first article program debug, tooling and data collection standpoint.
-Monitor and report production scrap / implement corrective
action's for high scrap rate per process points encountered.
-Perform daily equipment PM on all production equipment (keep
current all PM logs).
-Responsible for day to day facility maintenance. (Insure
area meets 5S standard, lighting and environment is adequate for production.
-Monitor and identify shortages to line down situation.

Contents of the task:
-Daily setup of production equipment and tools to support
production runs.
-Implement and maintain a production tool tracking system and
monitor production materials inventory on the production floor.
-Troubleshooting program issues for first time builds.
-Expedite feeder and line setup to insure maximum utilization
of equipment.
-Document production issues for first time build's (First
Article process, PBR's, PIF's)
-Identify material shortages prior to line down situation.

Operational Responsibilities:
-Support line setups for production.
-Troubleshoot equipment requirements for Engineering builds.
-Optimize feeder setup prior to production start.
-Identify materials issues prior to product production.
-Monitor SMA utilization and implement PIF for optimizations of problem
areas.
-Document production issues (PBR input, 1st article input,PIF implementation)
-Monitor material scrap on floor / implement CA when needed.
-Perform daily PM for equipment.
-Responsible for daily facility requirements.
-Monitor assembly process during production.


Experience Required:
-Strong mechanical skills
-SMA equipment knowledge
-Through Hole equipment knowledge
-X-Ray knowledge
-Detailed and able to understand production
requirements and timelines.
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
