Maintenance Mechanic: Tool and Die Facility Automotive Manufacturing Supplier
Our client is an industry leader in the tier one automotive supplier market and is actively searching for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to carry out duties performing basic scheduled and unscheduled maintenance functions on all equipment and machinery both mechanical and electrical


Job Description
This position will allow you to take your automotive manufacturing maintenance background to ensure the smooth functioning of the facility through maintaining a schedule of maintenance and monitor closely all machine functions and prevention of breakdowns. Duties include:


Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions. Be responsible for Tow Motor Maintenance

Help maintain equipment records and logs. Help maintain spare parts and inventory records.

Maintain facility and production support equipment. Maintain all safety equipment

Perform all preventative maintenance duties as required. Communicate with departmental and production supervisors. Adhere to all company policies and safety requirements including the understanding and use of Lockout Tagout procedures at all times. Perform general facility maintenance. Follow all applicable TS 16949 policies, procedures and work instructions.


Requirements
We are very interested in talking to candidates with the following qualifications:


High school education or equivalent

Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift. 5 years maintenance experience

Must have technical knowledge of the principles of electricity as well as the fundamental mechanical knowledge of how gears, pulleys, motors and hydraulic operate

2+ years experience desired in the automotive manufacturing world
