Maintenance Supervisor (Heavy Industrial)

Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company,

a world class manufacturer of ductile iron pipe located in

Provo, Utah since 1926 is currently accepting applications for a

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

 

Those interested should be enthusiastic about working in an industrial manufacturing setting, self motivated and willing to take on assigned tasks.

 

Primary responsibilities include organizing, designing and delegating work assignments; establishing goals and objectives; providing employees with training and needed resources, such as information, time frames, tools, and direction; working with employees and motivating them to be committed, concerned and involved; recognizing and eliminating waste; and effectively communicating throughout the organization.

 

SCHEDULE: 12 hour shifts.  3 days on, 3 days off. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

? Completion of a Bachelor?s degree in a technical field and preferably two years of supervisory or leadership experience;  or completion of an Associate?s degree, an apprenticeship or equivalent program, and a minimum of five years? technical experience and two years of supervisory or leadership experience (preferably in an industrial setting)

? The ability to handle multiple demands by organizing, prioritizing and performing duties in a cost effective, dependable and persistent manner

? A demonstrated record of empowering employees and instilling a pursuit of excellence in those supervised

? Effective conflict resolution in the workplace; and, exhibiting and promoting teamwork between operations, maintenance and others

? Being able to perform duties without requiring immediate and/or constant follow-up from assigned supervisor

? A proficiency in various software applications including electronic timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office applications?Word, Excel, Outlook. etc.
