Maintenance Supervisor/Team Leader

Cliffstar Corporation, processor and producer of private label fruit juices, seeks a technical manager to assist in leading the maintenance department of its largest production facility through a world-class maintenance improvement initiative. Current openings are available for strong leaders on the evening alternative work schedules. (12 hour shifts 3 to 4 days a week)

 

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor include:

?  Hands on direction of mechanics and electrical technicians in a 24/7 high speed manufacturing operation.

?  Supervise day-to-day activities as well as corporate strategic improvement initiatives.

?  Maximization of plant efficiency through the management of a Program Driven Maintenance approach.

?  Engage the associates in continuous improvement culture and asset reliability focus.

?  Assist in the direction of Lean Manufacturing Teams to ensure success.

?  Identify and coordinate staff/associate development.

?  Evaluate and complete Performance Appraisal?s and recommend corrective actions for performance improvements as needed.

 

Essential skills and experience:

?  Bachelor?s degree and/or associates with equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.

?  Excellent interpersonal skills, team player and an attitude to excel are a must.

?  Computer literate with MS Office. Computerized Maintenance Management System experience is a plus.

?  Must have a high level of personal drive to succeed and possess strong leadership, communication and organizational skills. Growth potential exists for an ambitious manufacturing professional.
