Anderson Products, a Worcester-based manufacturer is seeking an experienced responsible individual

for the following position:

 Maintenance Technician/Tool Grinder

 Experience and ability to run tool room equipment proficiently as well as troubleshoot production machines and tooling. This includes working from blueprints and maintaining close tolerances. Plan procedures, install and repair all production and building equipment, including automated and engine lathes, grinders, punch and drill presses and special purpose machines, fans, compressors, and refrigeration units, water, air and gas lines, carpentry, cement and related operations involved in repairing buildings and maintaining grounds, power and light circuits and electrical and electronic controls.  Diagnose problems, disassemble, determine extent of repairs necessary, estimate labor time, requisition or make up repair parts, assemble, test and adjust.  Operate machine tools to perform necessary welding and sheet metal operations required in repairing equipment or making up guards, brackets and supports.  Determine oiling and greasing schedules and assist in the preparation of other preventative programs.
