Position Description:

Conduct transferal, optimization, and validation of licensed product methods. Run analytical procedures during the development and transfer of new testing methods to support new product licensing. Be proficient in designing validation and comparability protocols; as well as performing data analysis and writing associated reports. Write and/or update SWIs and SOPs based on outcome of validation work. Be proficient in the following analytical techniques and instrumentation:
Uv-vis, column chromatography, ELISA, SPS-PAGE, agarose gel electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, immunoassays, enzymatic assays, blotting procedures, wet biochemistry techniques, densitometry and aseptic technique. Wet chemistry experience is a plus. Requires cGMP/cGLP training and writing skills along with good statistical, analytical and computer skills. In addition, perform troubleshooting and routine maintenance for analytical instruments as needed.

Qualifications:

BS in Chemistry or equivalent with 3-5 years experience in cGMP testing facility. MS Chemistry or equivalent preferred.

Working knowledge of Analytical techniques/instrumentation, cGMPs and other regulatory requirements, Validation and Method Development. Familiarity with Statistical Analysis.
