Manager, Manufacturing/Test Engineer

Key Requirements:

*Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

*Must have a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

*International travel is a requirement to China depending on product launches

*Fluency in Mandarin would be a plus.

*Must have 5 years minimum related experience in manufacturing and test engineering.

*Must have a BSEE or equivalent.

*Knowledge of National Instruments Test systems is a plus!!! But will train if other requirements are strong.

*Experience transferring Manufacturing processes to China is desired.

*Must be familiar with ISO9000 and IPC standards.

*Must be familiar with ROHS and WEEE requirements

 

Duties:

*To establish PCBA and final assembly test processes for new products that result in acceptable levels of product quality.

*Review and improvement of establish test processes and equipment.

*Development and maintenance of test procedures.

*Set up and training of testing processes with offshore contract manufacturers.

*Participation in design reviews for new products.

*Forward planning and budgeting of all test equipment.

*Capacity planning for all test equipment and processes at offshore manufacturing sites.

*Responsible for creating and approving packaging designs for all new products.
