DAP Inc., a leading manufacturer of sealants, adhesives, coatings and other home improvement products has an excellent opportunity for a Manager-Product Stewardship/Regulatory and Environmental Affairs.? The position is located at our headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland.
?
The individual selected will be responsible for all matters relating to product stewardship and regulatory and environmental affairs, which include:?
?
????????? Monitoring product stewardship and environmental statutes and regulations to ensure compliance
????????? Dealing with regulatory authorities regarding rules and regulations which affect DAP?s product lines, particularly VOC?s, hazard communication and transportation of dangerous goods
????????? Supervising and coordinating product labeling and MSDS preparation
????????? Assuring compliance by all manufacturing facilities with regulatory requirements
????????? Familiarity with product liability matters
?
Position Requirements:
????????? Minimum 5 years experience in product stewardship and environmental matters
????????? Understanding of hazards associated with chemicals
????????? Knowledge of environmental engineering concepts
????????? Knowledge of construction product application techniques?
????????? Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
????????? Effective written and oral communication skills
????????? Previous supervisory experience
????????? Bachelor of Science Degree in related field
????????? CIH or Masters in Health Sciences a plus
????????? Ability to travel required
