Manager Technical Services, Wovens - Express Production - Columbus, Ohio.

The Manager Technical Services Woven ? Express Production is responsible for managing the Men's and Women?s Woven technical design functions supporting Express Design team and both USA and international based development and sourcing teams.

Manages the overall strategy of the woven technical design function developing garment uniformity and consistency across as it pertains to fit, construction, and quality. Interfaces with cross functional teams: Columbus production and sourcing managers, NY Design, Columbus Merchants and Express Production global factory base. This position reports to the Director of Technical Services and manages the USA Woven technical design team.


Must possess the ability to:

. Demonstrate strong technical expertise with understanding of fit, trim, and construction ensuring product is consistent to Express standards and production timelines are met.

. Effectively manage the woven technical design team, over sees fit approval process from product development to production. Ensures NY/CMH product category tech team alignment with merchants/ design.

. Successfully directs and communicates fit comments and corrections to Express Production global technical partners and factories- Production trouble shoot.

. Mentors and trains internal technical staff growth. Work with Express Production partners on global training and alignment.

. Work with director and patternmakers to ensure blocks are being used across all product categories. Fits are consistent to the Exp brand standard.

. Work with director to ensure garments grading and tolerances are consistent to Exp standards.

. Oversees design/merchant style adoptions... Ensures tech packages and trim information is accurate and "Concept to Market efficiency is maintained.
