Manager of Soft Gel

MGR, SOFT GEL - Administers, plans, coordinates, and schedules manufacturing production of soft gel encapsulation to adhere to master schedule and adhere to department cGMPs and SOPs; manages department personnel. Requires a four year college or university degree or its equivalent. A California State Board of Pharmacy Exemption Certification to manufacture dangerous drugs is required within one year of assuming the position. Requires five to eight years experience in manufacturing management, encapsulation, and kindred product management. Requires comprehensive knowledge in production management and administration; requires excellent oral and written communication skills and problem solving abilities.  Will directly supervise 8 direct reports.  The facility runs a 24/7 schedule.  Must be open to being on-call and work overtime as necessary.  Must be a creative thinker (able to delegate responsibilities and authority) think outside of the box to achieve team production standards and cohesion.  Mamaintains scheduling of both hours and the daily work duties.

 

Exempt Band: Yellow. This position is located in the San Fernando facility, Shift 1. (Req. #GP-501001).
