Manufacturing Business Process and Data Manager

Lead the development of sound manufacturing data delivery structures to better integrate manufacturing operations with the rest of the corporate functions. Work closely with our operational excellence team to ensure that the factory efficiencies and flexibility gained are properly modeled and reflected in the corporate systems to ensure efficient use of our manufacturing infrastructure.

- Responsibilities for the development and improvement of manufacturing business processes surrounding operations of FE and BE (internal and external) manufacturing sites.
- Responsible for factory on time delivery and key expansion metrics process.
- Responsible for corporate level operations reporting (Operational and corporate).
- Responsible for system/data integration between manufacturing sites and corporate planning systems.
- Responsible for managing global projects and project teams to accomplish factory metrics and corporate system integration.
- Responsible for all phases of software development lifecycle for the applications under his/her responsibility.

- Programming: SQL, Perl, Visual Basic, ASP (VB script), HTML, XML, Crimson Editor, Java, Win CVS (concurrent versioning), CVS Tortoise, C-Programming, Cold Fusion
- Database: Toad, Oracle SQL Plus, MS Access, MySQL, SQL Server, Brio Query, Filemaker Pro, Approach
- Other Software: JMP, Autosched/Pro Model (simulation), AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Open Office (Linux), Visio/ABC (flow charting), Frontpage/NVU (web authoring)
- Manufacturing Related: Project Management, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Software and Database
Design/Development/Implementation/Sustaining, Capacity/Demand Planning, Operations/Performance Metrics, Process Flow, Capacity Modeling
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Industrial engineering or computer science)
- Five years of practical experience with manufacturing operations; Metrics, data analysis, system design and integration.
- Strong background in data-mining, data analysis and SQL (ANSI 92, Transact, Procedural)
- Practical experience with at least one programming language.
- In depth knowledge and experience with manufacturing business processes and solutions, and associated IT systems.
- Requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures used in software development life cycle.
- Experienced in managing a global team of developers and technical resources to complete projects.
