Manufacturing Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity at our Sun Prairie, Wisconsin facility.  Seal Graphics Technologies, a designer and maker of laminating equipment to the graphic arts industry, has a great opporutnity for a Manufacturing Engineer.  The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure high quality and reliable performance for all manufactued equipment at a competitive cost as well as streamline the assembly processes.  This highly-interactive position must work closely with the Production Supervisors and Production staff to ensure policies and procedures are created, implemented and maintained for all manufacturing activities associated with Production.

 

Key resposibilities of the position will be to establish efficient assembly and test procedures and assembly time standards for production.  Additional focus will be on the implementatin of process and design improvements for product manufacturability, while creating and implementing production assembly documentation.

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering combined with a minimum of 3 years experience in a machine assembly environment (electro-mechanical preferred).  Formal training and experience in Lean Manufacturing programs/methods along with MRP systems, Lotus Notes and MS Office computer applications are required.  Knowledge of laminators for print graphics industry is a plus.  Excellent communications skills and an ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the organization required.
